Outpatient Therapists

Optimum Care Counseling & Wellness Solutions, LLC is a private, outpatient practice with offices in Sinking Spring, PA (serving Berks County) and Allentown, PA (serving Lehigh County) providing counseling services to a diverse population, covering a wide range of ages and disorders/diagnoses.

Optimum Care Counseling & Wellness Solutions, LLC is seeking Licensed Outpatient Clinicians including: LCSW, LBSC and LPC’s. We are searching for graduate level health professionals to provide assessments and individual, family, and group psychotherapy to patients.

Optimum Care Counseling & Wellness Solutions, LLC is open 6 days per week, and you can set your own schedule within the needs of our practice. Various positions are available including full-time and part-time. Schedules available may include late afternoons, some evenings, and some Saturdays. Clinicians are expected to be able to function independently and professionally with minimal supervision and demonstrate a working knowledge of professional standards and ethics regarding the delivery of clinical social work services. Clinicians must be able to provide comprehensive assessments and ongoing therapeutic treatment services.

Optimum Care Counseling & Wellness Solutions, LLC is looking for Clinicians with experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. We offer our clinicians a competitive pay rate. All individuals must be licensed and have current Child Abuse Clearance, PA State Criminal Report, and FBI Clearance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct clinical assessments including documentation, mental status examination, diagnosis, and treatment plan. Make referrals to psychiatrist when appropriate.
  • Monitor mental health services provided
  • Conduct individual, family, and couple therapy sessions
  • Develop AND oversee treatment plans
  • Provide crisis management services as necessary
  • Provide direct clinical service delivery with the best practice standards

QUALIFICATIONS

  • PsyD or PhD
  • Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Behavior Specialist Licensed (BSL)
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor (LMFT)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Licensed in the state of PA
  • Child Abuse Clearance,
  • PA State Criminal Report,
  • FBI Clearance.
  • Three (3) years’ experience providing therapy.
  • Evening availability few days per week
  • Experience in outpatient settings.
  • A strong background with children, adolescents, families and/or adult.

We are searching for bachelor level health professionals to provide one-on-one behavioral treatment plan interventions for children, youth, and young adults with the goal of transferring skills to the child/youth/young adult and the child/youth’s caregiver(s). This position works in a variety of settings including the home, school, and community depending on where need is determined for a given client.

We are seeking professionals to work Daytime, afterschool, evening and weekend hours available!!!

 

Job Description

Behavioral Health Technician will provide one-on-one behavioral treatment plan interventions for children, youth, and young adults with the goal of transferring skills to the child/youth/young adult and the child/youth’s caregiver(s). This position works in a variety of settings including the home, school, and community depending on where need is determined for a given client.

Education and Experience: 

Must meet one (1) of the following: 

  • Have a certification as a Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analysis (BCaBA),
  • Have a certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT),
  • Have a certification as a Board-Certified Autism Technician (BCAT),
  • Have a behavior health certification or behavior analysis certification,
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent and have completed a 40-hour training covering the RBT Task List as evidenced by a certification that includes the name of the trainer. The trainer must have a BCBA or BCaBA certification.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the provision of behavioral health services.

Other Requirements: 

  • Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to travel as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implementing planned one-on-one or joint family interventions to a child, youth, or young adult at home, school, community-based program, or community setting as indicated in the treatment plan.
  • Supporting, re-educating, and training parents and other adults responsible for the care and supervision of the child to decrease dependence on behavioral health technician services.
  • Attending critical multi-disciplinary Interagency (treatment) team meetings as requested or needed.
  • Completing progress notes within 48 hours of the service.
  • Completing and submitting behavior tracking sheets provided by the lead clinician on the case.
  • Attending orientation and training sessions as required by DHS regulation and OCCWS policy.
  • Participating in individual and/or group supervision according to the weekly schedule and as requested by Supervisor.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned within the scope of the behavioral health technician role.
  • Provide Mental Health (In-home) services as determined by the program supervision.
